Where did Carson go?

The above title can be interpreted in a couple of different ways. Mainly because I must ask this question 20 times a day in order to ensure we do not lose him. I have found him in the front yard now 3 times this week, once after dark with the weed killer, spraying the weeds in the flower bed. It is actually quite terrifying. Oh Well, I am going to deserve a big pat on the back if the kid makes it to 5 years old!

Carson is disappearing in a metaphorical sense as well. Some demon has possessed my sweet easy going child. He has decided that he has free will and wants the most random things that I can not determine based on his grunting and pointing. That and with the revolving doors at our house, he wants to play outside with all the big kids in the afternoon. If he doesn't get to go out, there is serious heck to pay for someone (namely me, the one left inside) in the form of wailing and body throwing that will seriously injure him one of these days (again, really hoping we make it to 5)

I am planning on all this getting better in a few months, but then getting worse for a year or so (3 yrs) then better for a while then worse, then better...That is the beauty of childhood, just when we think we have ironed out all the wrinkles, it's "Here We Go AGain"!

On the other hand the kids are doing great. We have a brief hiatus from sports which will pick up again in April. I am in no hurry. I am walking with friends a couple mornings a week, Playgroup once a week, and book group. My calling doesn't keep me very busy, really just as much as I want to do. Then at church I can sub or hang out in the nursery (although Carson did great on his own last week), or attend class!

Dan's cousins Taylor and Wendy were in town Saturday after their cruise. We always have a good time with them. We went out to Billy Swamp Safari and took a buggy ride. It was fun, but the safari consisted mainly wild pigs, bison, and asian water buffalo, and scottish red deer. Sort of an eclectic group to find in the everglades if you ask me. Only one alligator. We saw more alligators on the way to the place in the canals! We missed the critter shows which Danya really recommended from her experience at her 3rd grade field trip.

Yeah. I love updates and pictures. I am hoping by the time we all get to the Reunion our 2 year olds can handle themselves. I would sure hate for everyone to see me freakout at the reunion.

It was so good to hear some news about the family. Glad you are keeping busy and I am jealous that you are walking regularly. That is my first goal when I get home. Keep up the good work and we will see you in a WEEK !! Can't wait.
Love, MOM
