I don' t remember any of the kids first words, so with Carson I have been waiting for that word we could call his "first". This past week he said it (or he said them) His hands were dirty from something and I said ooo sticky, and he repeated sticky. I didn't want to count it because he was just mimicking sounds, but later he was opening and closing his hands because they were sticky, and he said "stickey" (actually more like tittee, but I knew what he was saying) He does say the same thing if he is stinky, so it is almost like he said his two first words!!!!
What a big boy he is becoming.
We are pretty much done with the toy room. We have to cut a half inch off the bottom of the closet doors so they will open and shut and I need to hang pictures. Yeah! it feels like a real room in the house now, not like the converted garage that it is! The new carpet makes a huge difference, and I just used paint we already had and cheap laminate bookcases from target for the toy bins. Yeah. We are losing the table, I think, for more play room.

Yeah for Carson. This is when it gets fun.
I love what you have done to the toy room. It feels very comfortable and adds so much room to the living area.
Wow. The playroom looks good. Did you guys do the add-on yourselves? We added on our garage. It's now our living room and dining room. There was no way we could do it ourselves...but, we definately love the extra space. I remember how fun it is to hear the first "real" word....and how glad I was that my kids were trying to communicate and not just "grunting" or "whining". Yeah Carson!
