Okay, so Tropical Storm Hanna is off the coast and we are enjoying copious amounts of rain. So today Emily decides to join the Drama Club. So I agree to drop Danya at school, swing over to the middle school and drop Emily for Drama Club. But she doesn't see any friends and doesn't want to go anymore. Fine. I run everyone home and grab Caleb shoes, brush his teeth and run out to drop him off. As we get to the drop off point we realize he does not have his back pack. So we run home again. Well, by now I decide to take Emily to school too because she doesn't have a good enough umbrella for the amount of rain. So Everyone is in the car now, including the backpack. We run Caleb to school, of course by now he is late, but so is everyone else because of the rain. Then we go to get gas because my light has been on since yesterday! Then I run Emily to school and get home about 9:30. That all took me almost exactly 2 hours!
We get home, put Carson down for a nap, and start my chores!
Now I need to go pick up my sewing machine that was in to be fixed. I am looking forward to having a reliable machine again. I only sew in spurts, but I have decided to encourage Danya's interest in it, as arts and crafts are her passion.
We are on the look out for Ike which is the Hurricane to hit us late on Tuesday. We will see if it truly arrives. This has been a couple busy weeks as far as tropical waves go!
