Fall is come along so fast! It is hard to believe it is the middle of October!
Carson has decided he is not going to do anything he doesn't want to do. (I wish he were the only child with such notions, not one of a few) So he apparently doesn't wear bibs anymore, sit in the tub, ride in a carseat, get his diapers changed or wear clean clothes. He does however plug things in empty outlets, climb onto counters, ride in the car wearing only a seat belt, wear dirty diapers all day long, and steal anything good anyone is eating or drinking! Ah, to be a baby and be catered to all day! !
Caleb is getting to play defense now in football, so he is alot less bored and actually enjoying the game a bit more. He has yet to pull a flag, but is getting more and more on the ball. The following video is of their jamboree day (they were just scrimmaging there own team), so he first ever experience in the game. He is less slow on the uptake. He is still busy plotting the big day when he runs away. It was going to be Christmas so he could ask santa for all the gear he would need, but now it will be the day after his birthday. he is pretty serious about the whole thing and showed me where his new home will be. Fortunately it is in the Trumans backyard in the bushes by the bus stop, so i won't worry too much while he is away! lol
Emily is doing well at volleyball, she still gets discouraged, but she needs to give it time, and keep practicing. Her piano teacher told me she has reached a new plateau. In weight loss this is a bad thing, but in this case it was supposed to be a good thing-go figure! She likes to take life pretty easy, but unfortunately, middle school just doesn't run at a slow pace, so she is adjusting. But she did skip drama this morning in favor of sleeping in. I think it all gets to her sometimes. I will take a pic of her tomorrow at volleyball, she really does look cute in her uniform!!!
Danya's piano teacher gave me a call, that Danya is giving so much attitude at lesson that she has had to cut the lessons short and give Emily more time! Oh boy! Talk about embarrassing! So I am now rewarding Danya for a smiley face on her lessons and standing right next to her during practice time. I was very suprised to say the least, because Danya actually likes playing piano. I think she just wants to skate through things and doesn't want to be told what to do! On the plus side, she really is pretty musical and is such an easy child to parent!
This sounds like I am complaining about the kids. I don't mean to at all. They are fantastic and super and all of that!!! Just like all of us they have their moments, and I guess that is what there is to report this month

I loved the videos. It really helps to see peoples personality better. HOw fun that the whole family was at Football.
I know, it is all about finding each kid's currency and getting them to more self motivated.....it is weird to think about Caleb being old enough to do football, I still remember him not walking and only wanting his dad when he was home and screaming if you came near him.....I think he has changed some!
